Friends, after many weeks of hard work, and many weeks of promises, we have finally opened the doors to the whole wide world!

As you will note from hitting up CeeVee.com, we’ve totally revamped the User Interface and Design. We’ve added a neat little sign up with Facebook Connect, we’ve added share on Twiiter & Facebook buttons, and most importantly, we made the whole editing your CeeVee inline. This means no more annoying pop-ups

Now, whilst we appreciate your need for more and more features, we’ve deliberately set out to ensure CeeVee is as clean and simple as possible. Our aim is to make the maintaining of a CV online as simple as possible.

We are extremely busy as of now working on a new feature (you can see a tab once logged in going by the name of “soon ”

So, what are you waiting for, head on over to CeeVee and pimp that resume. You’ll never know when you need it.

We @ Team CeeVee are pleased to announce that we have finally opened the doors to the public. This basically means that everyone and their friends can join.

CeeVee was built to solve one simple issue. Allowing users to create simple, professionally managed CV.

We would like to thank the 600 private beta testers that help us with going public today. Without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible.

Now, CeeVee may look a little simple. It is meant to be this way, but now that we are public, we can build a kick-ass tool together which will include many services like, search, company profiles and a jobs board. We have lots of work ahead, but come along for the ride, its going to be fun

Wow, time flies when your building fun stuff for the masses.

We have been keeping ourselves real busy with the re-design and public launch of Ceevee, along with various business aspects of Ceevee as a brand.

Things will be changing, for the better, and you guys get to be a part of it. How cool is that?

Update: Response time is now a little faster, with a response time of approx 37ms

As some of you may have already noticed, we are currently experiencing a little slowness in response time to requests.

We are currently working on fixing the issue to continue to ensure that CeeVee remains up and serving its purpose.

As with many many startups, we underestimated the growth of CeeVee and are putting the necessary steps in place to ensure uptime.

I will update you once things get back to ‘normal’

Update 2: diacritics and pdf’s are working too

Update: .doc downloads have been fixed in Safari

We are currently experiencing some issues with the following:

* .doc downloads of CeeVee’s in Safari

* diacritics within the PDF’s

The Team have also been working all weekend on the bugs and feedback received. 95% of these bugs have been fixed.

Its been an nteresting period for us at W+B and CeeVee.

We sent out our first batch of beta invites on Wednesday at 11:20am. Within the first 24hours we saw an uptake of 84% in terms of user registrations. But let us not get into talking about numbers, as its still very early stages for us here.

Instead, let me talk about how we got here.

When searching for potential colleagues using ejobs and bestjobs we were increasingly upset with how unprofessional candidates resumes really were. 

Then it hit us. What about a professional CV/Resume for the rest of us. What about a simple tool where people can compose their CV and share with others. Simple, clean, professional and free to use. 

As it stands today CeeVee allows you to accomplish something others have failed to do. Create a professional resume online, which you can share with others. Simple.

But, this is not where we rest our case. More and more features and services are planned for the future.
